Legal
Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data Lonia receives through this website, what it is used for and what rights you have over it, under Uruguay’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 18,331.
What data we receive
Only what you send us voluntarily through the contact form or when you write to us by WhatsApp or email: your name, contact method (WhatsApp or email) and the content of your message. Booking messages sent via WhatsApp include the dates and number of guests you chose.
What we use it for
Solely to answer your inquiry and, where applicable, to handle your booking or the service you requested. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.
Site statistics
We measure, in aggregate and anonymously, how many people visit the site and which buttons they use (for example, how many taps “WhatsApp” gets). These measurements do not identify anyone and we do not use advertising cookies. We only store your preferred language in your browser.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for as long as needed to handle them and for a reasonable period afterwards. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction, updating or deletion of your data by writing to martin.fernandez@lonia.uy. You may also file a complaint with Uruguay’s Personal Data Regulatory and Control Unit (URCDP).
